Summary of Bill HR 9339
Bill 117 hr 9339, also known as the Interactive Federal Review Act, is a piece of legislation currently being considered by the US Congress. The purpose of this bill is to establish a new system for federal agencies to conduct reviews and assessments of their programs and policies in a more interactive and transparent manner.
Under the Interactive Federal Review Act, federal agencies would be required to create online platforms where the public can provide feedback and input on proposed regulations, policies, and programs. This would allow for greater public participation in the decision-making process and help ensure that the government is accountable to the people it serves.
Additionally, the bill would require federal agencies to regularly update these online platforms with information on the status of reviews and assessments, as well as any changes made in response to public feedback. This would help increase transparency and keep the public informed about the actions of the federal government. Overall, the Interactive Federal Review Act aims to improve the way federal agencies engage with the public and make their decision-making processes more open and accessible. It is currently being debated in Congress and has the potential to have a significant impact on how the government operates.
