12/30/2022, 3:18 AM

Summary of Bill HR 6335

Bill 117 hr 6335, also known as the HUBS for Veterans Act of 2021, aims to improve access to healthcare services for veterans by establishing a network of community-based veteran healthcare hubs. These hubs would provide a range of services, including primary care, mental health care, and social services, to veterans in their local communities.

The bill seeks to address the challenges that many veterans face in accessing timely and quality healthcare services through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). By creating a network of community-based hubs, veterans would have more options for receiving the care they need closer to home.

Additionally, the HUBS for Veterans Act of 2021 would require the VA to collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the hubs are able to meet the unique needs of veterans in their communities. This collaborative approach is intended to improve coordination of care and enhance the overall quality of services provided to veterans. Overall, the HUBS for Veterans Act of 2021 represents a bipartisan effort to improve healthcare access for veterans and address the challenges they face in navigating the VA healthcare system. If passed, this bill has the potential to make a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans across the country.
