This bill requires the Department of Defense (DOD) to implement a pilot program to provide stipends to certain individuals who DOD determines will experience financial hardship during the first 120 days following separation from the Armed Forces. An individual must have separated from the Armed Forces under honorable conditions and served at least four years to be eligible for a stipend.
