National Guard Emergency Response Act of 2021
This bill allows the relevant adjutant general to authorize a member of the National Guard who is performing active Guard and Reserve duty to perform additional duties in response to a state-declared emergency or disaster, provided that the adjutant general determines the member performing such duties will derive a benefit that satisfies or complements training requirements for the wartime mission or other training objectives of the member's unit.
