Audit & Appeals Fairness, Integrity, and Reforms in Medicare Act of 2019 or the AFIRM Act
This bill makes a series of administrative and procedural changes to the Medicare appeals process, such as authorizing the creation of Medicare magistrates to handle smaller claims and allowing adjudicators to consolidate cases under certain circumstances.
