Unemployment Assistance for Individuals Impacted by Quarantine Order for a National or State Public Health Emergency Act of 2020
This bill authorizes the President to treat a national or state public health emergency, including a virus threat or other health pandemic, as a major disaster for purposes of providing disaster unemployment assistance.
The President may provide additional unemployment assistance to an individual who is under a quarantine order and meets certain requirements.
