Congressional Summary of HR 6176
Solar Vocational Education and Training for our Servicemembers Act or the Solar VETS Act
This bill requires the Department of Energy (DOE) to develop a training course for careers in solar-related occupations to be (1) made available at military installations and to eligible members of the Armed Forces, and (2) administered by institutions of higher education pursuant to an agreement with DOE.
