Freight Infrastructure Reinvestment Act of 2020

This bill directs the Department of Transportation to establish a National Freight Mobility Infrastructure Improvement Program to provide competitive grants to states and other entities for certain costs associated with projects to improve freight mobility.

Additionally, the bill (1) imposes a 1% tax on certain ground transportation of property within the United States; and (2) establishes a National Freight Mobility Infrastructure Fund, consisting of amounts equivalent to taxes received under this bill.
