Commodity End-User Relief Act
This bill amends the Commodity Exchange Act to reauthorize it and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) through FY2019, and revise requirements and prohibitions regarding:
- registered futures associations;
- futures commission merchants;
- commodity brokers in bankruptcy;
- futures trading transactions;
- judicial review of CFTC rules;
- the public interest exemption from futures trading and foreign transactions regulations of certain agreements, contracts, or transactions entered into pursuant to an approved or permitted tariff or rate schedule;
- swap dealers;
- unregistered designated contract markets or a swap execution facilities;
- bona fide hedging transactions or positions; and
- commodity pool operators that are qualified charitable organizations.
