Congressional Summary of HR 1497
War Memorial Protection Act - Permits emblems of belief approved for placement on government-provided headstones and markers to be included as part of: (1) a military memorial established or acquired by the federal government; or (2) any other military memorial established in cooperation with the American Battle Monuments Commission.
Includes as approved emblems, at a minimum, all those authorized by the National Cemetery Administration.
