Contract DescriptionBLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT (BPA) TITLE: FURNITURE PURCHASES, DESIGN AND INSTALLATION SUPPORT SERVICES THE PURPOSE OF THE BPA FOR THE U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY IS TO PROVIDE FURNITURE SYSTEMS AND FURNITURE INSTALLATION/RECONFIGURATION SERVICES SUPPORT. THIS BPA WILL INCLUDE PROVIDING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SYSTEMS FURNITURE INSTALLATIONS AND RECONFIGURATIONS AS WELL AS NEW FURNITURE/EQUIPMENT PURCHASES WITH SUPPORT FOR THIS REQUIREMENT BEING PROVIDED THROUGH THE FOLLOWING TASKS: PROJECT OVERSIGHT AND MANAGEMENT, ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY, FURNITURE TRANSPORTATION, TRASH REMOVAL, FURNITURE INVENTORY AND PRODUCT WAREHOUSING, EMPLOYEE IDENTIFICATION AND SECURITY REQUIREMENTS AS WELL AS THE FOLLOWING: 1. SITE EVALUATION; 2. PRODUCT HANDLING FROM MANUFACTURER'S SHIPPER AND/OR THE EPA INVENTORY TO CUSTOMER SIGN-OFF ON FINAL PUNCH LIST; 3. PRODUCT DELIVERY COORDINATION; 4. PRODUCT TRANSPORTATION OF EXISTING INVENTORY AS REQUIRED; 5. UNPACKING AND INSPECTION OF PRODUCT FOR SHIPPING DAMAGE; 6. ASSEMBLY OF PRODUCT TO CONFORM TO FINAL AGENCY APPROVED DESIGN DRAWINGS; 7. REMOVAL OF PACKING MATERIALS AND CLEANING OF PRODUCT INCLUDING STEAM CLEANING; 8. REMOVAL OF ALL EXCESS PRODUCT AND TRANSPORT TO THE EPA WAREHOUSE OR OTHER LOCATION AS SPECIFIED; AND 9. SITE CLEAN-UP, PUNCH LIST AND ACCEPTANCE TASK I DESIGN SERVICES: PROVIDE INSTALLATION DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS BASED ON AGENCY PROVIDED FURNITURE DESIGN INTENT PLANS AND SHALL COORDINATE WITH POWER AND DATA LOCATIONS; TASK II FURNITURE PURCHASES: MANAGE THE ORDERING, SHIPMENT, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF ALL NEW FURNITURE AND FURNISHINGS AND PROVIDE FURNITURE SOLUTIONS; AND TASK III FURNITURE INSTALLATION SERVICES: FUNDS DO NOT GET OBLIGATED TO THE BPA AND ARE OBLIGATED AT THE ORDERING LEVEL ON THE ACTUAL ORDER.
