Bill 117 hr 6913, also known as the SNOOP Act of 2022, is a piece of legislation introduced in the US Congress. The main purpose of this bill is to address concerns related to government surveillance and the protection of individual privacy rights.

The SNOOP Act of 2022 aims to increase transparency and accountability in government surveillance programs by requiring the government to disclose more information about its surveillance activities. Additionally, the bill seeks to strengthen privacy protections for individuals by requiring the government to obtain a warrant before conducting surveillance on US citizens. This would help ensure that individuals are not subject to unwarranted government intrusion into their private lives. Overall, the SNOOP Act of 2022 is designed to strike a balance between national security interests and individual privacy rights. By increasing transparency and accountability in government surveillance programs, the bill aims to protect the rights of American citizens while also ensuring that the government has the tools it needs to keep the country safe.
