The bill "Recognizing the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001" was introduced in the 119th Congress as House Concurrent Resolution 111 on June 30, 2026. The purpose of the bill is to honor the memory of the victims, recognize the courage and sacrifice of the heroes who responded to the attacks, acknowledge charitable organizations supporting survivors and victims' families, and reaffirm the enduring commitment of the United States to defend freedom and ensure the events of 9/11 are never forgotten.
