I don't understand why this new PIPELINE Safety Act is necessary. It seems like it's just going to create more red tape and bureaucracy for companies to deal with. I mean, I get that safety is important, but couldn't they have found a better way to address the issue? I'm worried about how this is going to impact jobs in the industry and potentially drive up costs for consumers. It just doesn't seem like the right approach to me.
