A resolution recognizing the significance of Community College Month in April as a celebration of more than 1,000 institutions throughout the United States supporting access to higher education, workforce training, and more broadly sustaining and advancing the economic prosperity of the United States.

A resolution was introduced in the 119th Congress, designated as S.Res. 686 on April 22, 2026, to recognize the importance of Community College Month in April as a tribute to over 1,000 institutions nationwide that facilitate access to higher education, workforce development, and contribute to the economic growth of the United States.
