To provide for the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate any unlawful action by any officer or employee of the Department of Homeland Security taken on or after January 20, 2025.

H.R. 8154, introduced in the 119th Congress on March 27, 2026, aims to establish a special prosecutor to investigate any illegal activities conducted by Department of Homeland Security officers or employees from January 20, 2025, onwards.
