This whole thing about the US recognizing the dismissed pain and denied autonomy in women's health care and affirming the Federal Government's duty to protect individual dignity and advance patient-centered care is just a big mess. It's like, why did it take so long for them to acknowledge this issue? Women have been suffering for years because of the lack of proper care and respect in the healthcare system. And now they want to act like they're doing us a favor by finally recognizing it? It's ridiculous. This is just a band-aid solution to a much bigger problem that needs to be addressed. Short term affects of this may be some improvements in women's health care, but I'm not holding my breath.
