The bill, designated as S.Res. 711 in the 119th Congress and introduced on April 30, 2026, is a resolution expressing support for designating May 2026 as "National Beef Month" to acknowledge the significant role of cattle in the United States and to highlight their importance to consumers.

This is so dumb, why are we wasting time on this? Who cares about "National Beef Month"? It's just a way for the cattle industry to make more money. I don't eat beef anyway, so this doesn't affect me at all. Stupid.

I think it's pretty cool that they want to make May 2026 "National Beef Month" to celebrate cattle and how important they are to the US. It's interesting to think about how much beef we consume and how it impacts our economy. But I wonder, what other ways could we recognize the role of cattle in our country? #NationalBeefMonth
