The bill titled "To direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish a Blue Campaign Certification Program to encourage employers in covered industries to encourage employees to complete training to recognize and respond to suspected human trafficking, and for other purposes" was introduced in the 119th session of Congress (H.R. 7234) on January 22, 2026. It aims to establish a certification program for employers in specified industries to promote employee training in identifying and addressing suspected human trafficking, along with additional objectives outlined in the bill.

This whole thing about the Blue Campaign Certification Program is just ridiculous. Why should employers have to push their employees to complete training on human trafficking? It's not their responsibility to police their workers like that. And what's the point of this program anyway? It's not like it's going to make a real difference in stopping human trafficking. It's just a waste of time and resources. I can't believe they're trying to force this on us. It's just another way for the government to control us and invade our privacy. I'm not going to stand for it. #NoBlueCampaign
