Closing the HPV Testing Gap Act

The bill titled "To direct the Director of the National Institutes of Health to conduct a study and submit to Congress a report on the development of a standardized, noninvasive test for HPV in men, and for other purposes," designated as H.R. 8939 in the 119th Congress and introduced on May 20, 2026, aims to instruct the NIH Director to investigate and present a report to Congress regarding the creation of a consistent, noninvasive test for HPV in males.
