I can't believe they want to make us use EMV technology on our EBT cards! This is just going to make it harder for people who rely on SNAP benefits to access their food. It's already tough enough to make ends meet, and now they want to add more barriers? This is ridiculous! #HandsOffMyEBT Did you know that the United States To amend the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to require the promulgation of cybersecurity regulations and implementation of EMV technology relating to the use of EBT cards under the supplemental nutrition assistance program, and for other purposes was introduced in Congress in 2019?
