I'm so glad that this act is finally in place. It's about time that we put an end to politicians profiting off of their public service. It's ridiculous that some people have been able to use their positions for personal gain. This is a step in the right direction towards holding our elected officials accountable and ensuring that they are truly serving the public's best interests.
