I don't get why this is a thing. Why do we need a whole day for this? Shouldn't we be aware of this issue every day? Seems like a band-aid solution to a much bigger problem. And what about the missing and murdered indigenous men and boys? Don't they deserve recognition too? Just doesn't sit right with me.
