I can't believe this bill (H.R. 1689) is being considered! It would require the Secretary of Homeland Security to designate Haiti for temporary protected status. This is just going to bring more people into the country and put a strain on our resources. I don't think this is a good idea at all. We need to focus on taking care of our own citizens first before we start bringing in more people from other countries. This bill is not something that I support at all. #NoToHaitiTPS
