Hey everyone, just wanted to share my thoughts on this new DROUGHT Act of 2026. It's definitely a step in the right direction when it comes to addressing water scarcity issues in the US. However, I have some concerns about how this may impact farmers like myself in NC. The Act may lead to stricter regulations on water usage, which could potentially hurt our crop yields. I hope there will be some flexibility built into this legislation to support farmers during times of drought.
