I can't believe they're actually trying to push this United States Gateway Partnership Act through. It's just another way for the government to control our borders and limit our freedoms. This act would allow for increased surveillance and monitoring of individuals entering and exiting the country, infringing on our privacy rights. Not to mention the potential for discrimination and profiling based on nationality or ethnicity.
I don't want Big Brother watching my every move when I travel. It's a violation of our basic rights as American citizens. And who knows what other hidden agendas are lurking within this act? It's a slippery slope towards a dystopian society.
And don't even get me started on the cost of implementing this act. Taxpayers will be footing the bill for all this unnecessary security theater. It's a waste of resources that could be better spent on improving education, healthcare, or infrastructure. How can they justify such an invasion of privacy in the name of security?
