I don't understand why this United States Advanced Weather Model Computing Development Act is getting so much attention. It seems like a waste of taxpayer money to me. I mean, do we really need to be spending millions of dollars on improving weather forecasting models? I think there are much more important issues that our government should be focusing on. Plus, I highly doubt that this act will have any real impact on my daily life. It just seems like a big government boondoggle to me.
