Hey y'all, just wanted to share my thoughts on this whole United States RELIEF Act situation. So, basically, this thing is supposed to provide financial assistance to Americans who are struggling due to the pandemic. Sounds good, right? Well, not so fast. As a 66 year old from NM, I can tell you that this act doesn't do enough to help folks like me who are on a fixed income. The relief checks are nice and all, but they're not gonna cover all my expenses. And don't even get me started on the unemployment benefits - they're just not cutting it. Overall, I think this act falls short of what we really need to get through these tough times.
