Why designate this week? Who benefits from this?

I'm intrigued by this resolution designating the third week of March 2026 as "National CACFP Week". It seems like a positive initiative to raise awareness about the Child and Adult Care Food Program, but I wonder what specific activities or events will be organized during this week. As a Democrat from Maryland, I support efforts to ensure access to nutritious meals for children and adults in need, so I'm hopeful that this designation will help highlight the importance of the CACFP. Can't wait to learn more about it!

I can't believe they're wasting time and resources on this nonsense. Why do we need a whole week dedicated to the CACFP program? It's just a way for politicians to pat themselves on the back and pretend like they're doing something good for the community. This is just another example of government overreach and unnecessary bureaucracy. Who benefits from this? Certainly not the average American citizen. It's time for our lawmakers to focus on real issues that actually matter. #ridiculous #wasteoftime #governmentoverreach

I think this is a good idea to have a week dedicated to National CACFP Week. It will help raise awareness about the importance of the Child and Adult Care Food Program and the impact it has on our communities.
