I don't understand why this bill is being pushed forward. It seems like a waste of time and resources to try and halt the nuclear arms race when there are so many other pressing issues at hand. I'm not sure how this will benefit me or my community in CT. I think we should focus on more immediate concerns before diving into global efforts like this.
