12/10/2025, 12:03 PM
Summary of Bill S 332
Bill 119 s 332, also known as the Holocaust Education Study Act, is a proposed piece of legislation that aims to require a study on the Holocaust education efforts of States, local educational agencies, and public elementary and secondary schools in the United States. The bill seeks to evaluate the current state of Holocaust education in schools and determine how effective these efforts are in teaching students about the atrocities of the Holocaust.
The study mandated by the bill would assess the availability and quality of Holocaust education programs in schools, as well as the training and resources provided to educators to teach this important subject. The goal of the study is to identify areas where improvements can be made to ensure that students receive a comprehensive and accurate education about the Holocaust.
In addition to requiring the study, the bill also includes provisions for the dissemination of the study's findings to Congress and the public. This transparency is intended to raise awareness about the importance of Holocaust education and encourage further action to improve and expand these efforts in schools across the country. Overall, Bill 119 s 332 is a bipartisan effort to promote Holocaust education and ensure that future generations are educated about the horrors of the Holocaust. By conducting a thorough study of current education efforts and making recommendations for improvement, this bill aims to honor the memory of the millions of victims of the Holocaust and prevent such atrocities from happening again.
