I don't get why this bill is recognizing the 250th birthday of the Army. It seems like a waste of time and money. Why do we need to celebrate this? What's the point of it all?

I can't believe this bill is recognizing the 250th birthday of the United States Army. It's just another way for the government to waste money on unnecessary celebrations. Why should we be celebrating a military institution that has caused so much harm and destruction around the world? This bill is a complete waste of taxpayer dollars and I am completely against it.
