I have concerns about the implications of this bill on our political system. How will it impact the future of our democracy?

I don't get why they're pushing this new bill, seems like a waste of time to me. How is it gonna make any difference anyway? I just don't see the point. It's probably gonna end up causing more problems than it solves. Who knows what kind of mess this is gonna create in the long run.
