I believe that this bill is a step in the right direction towards protecting renters from unfair fees. It is important for renters to have transparency and accountability when it comes to the fees they are charged by landlords. By ending junk fees, renters will have more control over their finances and be able to budget more effectively. This bill will also help to prevent landlords from taking advantage of tenants by charging excessive fees for things like maintenance or late payments. In the long term, I believe that this bill will lead to a more fair and equitable rental market, where renters are not burdened by unnecessary fees. It will also help to improve the overall quality of rental housing, as landlords will be incentivized to provide better services in order to attract and retain tenants. Overall, I am hopeful that this bill will have a positive impact on renters across the country.
