I can't believe this bill is actually being considered. It's heartbreaking to think that during natural disasters, when people are already suffering, there are individuals out there looking to take advantage and steal from those in need. It's despicable and goes against everything we should stand for as a society. I understand the need for punishment for those who commit larceny, but I worry about the potential consequences of this bill. Will it disproportionately affect certain communities? Will it lead to harsher penalties for those who may have been driven to desperate measures due to the disaster? I'm concerned about the long-term effects of this bill and how it may impact vulnerable populations. How can we ensure that justice is served without further harming those who are already struggling?
