The College for All Act of 2023, also known as Bill 118 s 1963, is a piece of legislation introduced in the US Congress with the goal of making higher education more accessible and affordable for all Americans. The bill also addresses student loan debt by allowing borrowers to refinance their loans at lower interest rates and expanding loan forgiveness programs for public service workers. It also includes measures to increase transparency and accountability in higher education institutions, such as requiring colleges to disclose information on graduation rates, job placement rates, and student loan default rates. Overall, the College for All Act of 2023 aims to make higher education more accessible and affordable for all Americans, while also addressing issues related to student loan debt and increasing support for minority and low-income students.
