Summary of Bill S 173

Bill 118 s 173, also known as Ethan's Law, is a piece of legislation introduced in the US Congress with the aim of improving gun safety measures. The bill is named after Ethan Song, a 15-year-old boy who tragically lost his life in an accidental shooting in 2018.

Overall, Ethan's Law aims to promote gun safety and prevent accidental shootings by ensuring that firearms are stored securely and out of reach of unauthorized individuals. The bill has garnered bipartisan support in Congress and is seen as a common-sense measure to protect children and promote responsible gun ownership.
