The TRADES Act, also known as Bill 118 hr 193, is a piece of legislation currently being considered by the US Congress. The purpose of this bill is to promote the growth of the American workforce by providing funding for training programs in various trade industries.
The TRADES Act aims to address the shortage of skilled workers in fields such as construction, manufacturing, and transportation by allocating resources to support apprenticeship programs, vocational training, and workforce development initiatives. By investing in these programs, the bill seeks to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in high-demand trade occupations.
Additionally, the TRADES Act includes provisions to support small businesses in the trade industry, such as tax incentives and grants for workforce training. These measures are intended to help businesses expand their operations and create more job opportunities for American workers. Overall, the TRADES Act is designed to strengthen the American workforce and promote economic growth by investing in training programs for trade industries. If passed, this legislation has the potential to address the skills gap in the labor market and provide individuals with the tools they need to succeed in high-demand trade occupations.
