These measures are intended to help parents balance their work and family responsibilities more effectively. The PARENT Act also includes provisions aimed at improving communication and collaboration between parents and schools. This includes requirements for schools to provide regular updates on student progress, opportunities for parental involvement in decision-making processes, and resources for parents to support their children's education. Overall, the PARENT Act of 2023 seeks to empower parents with the tools and support they need to be effective caregivers and advocates for their children. By addressing issues related to parental rights and responsibilities, the bill aims to strengthen families and promote positive outcomes for children.
