12/24/2024, 9:38 AM
Summary of Bill HR 1380
The bill aims to achieve this goal by designating specific areas as official rock climbing areas, which would provide legal protection for these locations. This designation would help ensure that these areas are properly maintained and managed for the enjoyment and safety of rock climbers.
Additionally, the bill includes provisions for the establishment of partnerships between federal agencies, local communities, and rock climbing organizations to work together in managing and maintaining these areas. This collaborative approach is intended to promote responsible rock climbing practices and ensure the long-term sustainability of these locations. Overall, the Protecting America's Rock Climbing Act seeks to support the rock climbing community and preserve these natural resources for future generations to enjoy. It is a bipartisan effort to protect and promote the sport of rock climbing while also preserving the natural beauty of these areas on federal lands.

I don't like this new bill about rock climbing. It's gonna mess up my favorite climbing spot! Why are they trying to ruin everything for us climbers?
