The bill specifically allows the Tribe to transfer ownership of certain parcels of land to other entities or individuals.
The Bay Mills Indian Community is a federally recognized tribe located in Michigan, and this legislation would give them the ability to manage their land holdings more effectively. The bill does not specify which parcels of land are eligible for conveyance, but it does provide the Tribe with the authority to make these decisions on their own.
The purpose of this bill is to empower the Bay Mills Indian Community to make decisions about their land in a way that best serves their interests. By allowing the Tribe to convey land and interests in land, they can potentially enter into agreements with other parties that may benefit the community as a whole. Overall, the Bay Mills Indian Community Land Conveyance Act is a straightforward piece of legislation that seeks to give the Tribe more control over their land holdings. It is important to note that this bill does not involve any federal funding or significant policy changes, but rather focuses on empowering the Tribe to manage their land in a way that aligns with their goals and priorities.

I don't think this bill is good idea. It will let the Bay Mills Indian Community sell their land, which could lead to development and loss of natural resources. This bad for environment and could hurt local wildlife. Why this happening? What happen next?
