Summary of Bill HR 3762

Bill 117 HR 3762, also known as the No Vax Pass Act of 2021, is a piece of legislation introduced in the US Congress. The main purpose of this bill is to prohibit the federal government, as well as any state or local government that receives federal funding, from requiring individuals to show proof of vaccination in order to access certain services or facilities.

The bill specifically states that no entity receiving federal funds shall require an individual to provide documentation of their vaccination status as a condition of entry or participation in any activity. This includes but is not limited to, businesses, schools, and government agencies.

The No Vax Pass Act of 2021 aims to protect the privacy and personal freedoms of individuals by preventing any form of discrimination based on vaccination status. Supporters of the bill argue that requiring proof of vaccination infringes on individual rights and could lead to a two-tiered society where those who are vaccinated have more privileges than those who are not. Opponents of the bill, however, argue that vaccination requirements are necessary to protect public health and prevent the spread of infectious diseases. They believe that allowing businesses and other entities to require proof of vaccination is a reasonable measure to ensure the safety of employees and customers. Overall, the No Vax Pass Act of 2021 is a controversial piece of legislation that raises important questions about individual rights versus public health concerns. It will be interesting to see how this bill progresses through the legislative process and what impact it may have on vaccination policies in the United States.
