In addition to conducting the study, the bill also includes provisions for the Secretary of Commerce to collaborate with other federal agencies, industry stakeholders, and cybersecurity experts to gather information and expertise on this issue. The bill emphasizes the importance of protecting the nation's critical infrastructure and ensuring the security of consumer devices that are widely used in homes and businesses.
