Summary of Bill HR 2313
Bill 119 hr 2313, also known as the Celestial Time Standardization Act, aims to mandate the Administrator of NASA to create a standardized time system for celestial bodies such as the Moon. This time standardization is crucial for future operations and infrastructure development on these celestial bodies.
The bill emphasizes the importance of having a consistent time system in place to ensure smooth coordination and communication among astronauts, scientists, and engineers working on missions to the Moon and other celestial bodies. In addition to developing a celestial time standard, the bill also addresses the need for supporting infrastructure and resources to facilitate future missions to these celestial bodies. This includes provisions for research, technology development, and collaboration with international partners to advance space exploration capabilities. Overall, the Celestial Time Standardization Act aims to pave the way for successful and sustainable operations on and around the Moon and other celestial bodies beyond Earth. By establishing a standardized time system and supporting infrastructure, the bill seeks to enhance the effectiveness and safety of future space missions.

I can't believe this bill wants to mess with our clocks and change the time based on the stars! It's ridiculous and unnecessary. Who benefits from this nonsense anyway?

This bill is so dumb, like seriously who cares about this crap. It's just a waste of time and money. I can't believe they are even considering passing this. It's ridiculous. The government needs to focus on real issues, not this nonsense. This bill is a joke.
