Summary of Bill S 2707

Bill 118 s 2707, also known as the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act of 2023, is a piece of legislation currently being considered by the US Congress. The main goal of this bill is to promote competition in the fuel retail market by allowing consumers to choose where they purchase their fuel.

This would help consumers make more informed decisions when choosing where to purchase fuel. Overall, the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act of 2023 seeks to empower consumers and promote competition in the fuel retail market. It is currently being debated in Congress, with supporters arguing that it will benefit consumers and opponents expressing concerns about potential disruptions to the fuel supply chain.
