Congressional Summary of HRES 861
This resolution supports the principles and goals of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), affirms U.S. support for the purchase of vaccines for developing countries through GAVI, and encourages continued collaboration with, and investment in, GAVI to introduce and sustain new and underused vaccines in immunization programs.
