Summary of Bill S 123
Bill 119 s 123, also known as the Handgun Licensing Grant Program Act, is a proposed piece of legislation in the US Congress. The bill aims to establish a grant program that would provide funding to states and local governments to implement handgun licensing programs. These programs would require individuals to obtain a license before being able to purchase or possess a handgun.

The grant program would also support efforts to enforce existing gun laws and prevent illegal gun trafficking.
In addition to funding handgun licensing programs, the bill also includes provisions for improving data collection on gun violence, enhancing mental health services for individuals at risk of committing gun violence, and increasing penalties for individuals who illegally possess or use firearms. Overall, Bill 119 s 123 seeks to address the issue of gun violence in the United States through a combination of licensing requirements, enforcement measures, and support for mental health services. The bill is currently being debated in Congress and has garnered support from both sides of the political aisle.

I can't believe this bill is actually happening. It's just so sad to see our country going down this path. I never thought I would see the day when something like this would be considered. It's really going to have a negative impact on so many people, including myself. I just hope that something can be done to stop it before it's too late.
