As a resident of MH, I fully support this bill. It is crucial to keep obstetrics local in order to ensure that pregnant individuals have access to quality care close to home. This bill will help to address the issue of maternity care deserts in rural areas, where pregnant individuals may have to travel long distances to receive the care they need. By keeping obstetrics local, we can improve maternal and infant health outcomes and ensure that all individuals have access to the care they deserve. This bill is a step in the right direction towards improving healthcare access for all individuals, and I am proud to support it.
