The bill also seeks to strengthen international partnerships and cooperation in the fight against TB, recognizing that the disease knows no borders and requires a global response.

Key provisions of the bill include the establishment of a national TB control program, increased funding for TB research and treatment programs, and the development of a national strategy to eliminate TB in the United States. The bill also calls for greater coordination between federal, state, and local health agencies in addressing TB, as well as increased education and awareness efforts to reduce stigma and discrimination associated with the disease.
