The bill also emphasizes the importance of parental involvement in education and encourages collaboration between schools, families, and communities. Overall, the Make Education Local Act of 2023 is focused on promoting local control and decision-making in education, with the goal of improving outcomes for students and schools across the country. It is currently being debated in Congress, with supporters arguing that it will lead to more effective and responsive education policies, while critics raise concerns about potential disparities in education quality between states and districts.
